When you join Bupa, you will be automatically opted into the Bupa Health Trust, a comprehensive medical insurance package designed to support the healthcare needs of eligible employees and their families. This benefit offers access to Bupa’s network of healthcare providers, covering a range of medical services from GP appointments to specialist care. It also includes Bupa Blua Health, a digital GP service providing round-the-clock access to medical advice via phone or video calls. Additionally, employees can use the MyHealthcare Allowance, which provides £350 annually to be redeemed for health assessments, dental care, or other Bupa products for themselves or family members.
Pension / Retirement
As a Bupa employee, you have the opportunity to participate in one of Bupa’s pension plans, depending on your specific business area. If you are eligible and choose to join, Bupa will contribute towards your retirement savings. For those who are not eligible or opt-out of the Bupa pension plans, employees are automatically enrolled in the workplace pension scheme with NEST (National Employment Savings Trust), ensuring that all staff have access to retirement savings support.
