Brain in Hand
The needs of neurodivergent people are widely misunderstood.
The world can be an overwhelming place when you are neurodivergent. Uncertainty and change, social norms, expectations and workplace environments of a neurotypical world drive anxiety and overwhelm, ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. When the limbic system is constantly triggered, it impacts physical, emotional and mental health. Importantly, it also affects a person's executive functioning - ability to solve problems, think clearly, plan, regulate emotions and deal with change and uncertainty. All of which are essential for getting into and thriving in the workplace or life.
Brain in Hand is a personalised, needs driven support system that reduces anxiety and promotes wellbeing. It helps people thrive, not just survive. It has been developed specifically for people with diverse needs, integrating human support with technology.
Human Support:
Bespoke, user-led guidance from experienced neurodiversity and mental health professionals enable a person to create tailored, individual coping solutions, daily routines and structure accessed from their phone in the moment.
Our Technology:
Integrates with one-to-one coaching to support the user day-to-day e.g. reminding users how to initiate tasks, step-by-step instructions on routine and anticipatory coping strategies for uncertainty or change.
Users can track their mood and reflect on the things they found difficult within the app, and with a coach, developing self-awareness, motivation and new skills.
